Douglasville Lodging

The City of Douglasville has a significant share in the tourism industry, primarily boosted by the existence of their historical railroad sites and Victorian buildings. As such, hotels are plentiful in the area, to better accommodate those willing to spend several days exploring and visiting the vestiges of the railroad era.

Traditional hotel lodging in Douglasville is provided by nationally known hotel chains like Best Western, Marriott, Comfort Inn, La Quinta Inn, Hampton Inn and Days Inn. Typical room rates vary from about $60 per night at the Quality Inn Douglasville and the Atlanta-Days Inn Douglasville to about $100 per night at La Quinta Inn Douglasville. Most hotels offer discounted weekly rates and some offer discounts for longer stays.

One of the most sought after hotels in Douglasville is the Holiday Inn Express, located at 7101 Concourse Parkway. Known for having very good value for money, they offer plenty of special promos, some of which include upgrading from standard rooms to suites (huge rooms the size of 1 and a half rooms combined) for merely $10. It also has a very favorable location, being located in the heart of an area populated by a chain of restaurants, a Wal-mart branch and a large mall. They are also considerate enough to provide maps of all the restaurants within the area. Some of their amenities include the token complimentary breakfast, discounted tickets for Six Flags Amusement Park, and a small indoor pool.

Another popular hotel is the Atlanta Days Inn, located at 5489 West Moreland Plaza, I-20 Exit- 37. Like the Holiday Inn, Atlanta Days had reasonable rates, and a good location. Their rooms are bedecked with very comfortable beds, and pleasant room layouts, with air conditioning, yellow lights, and other amenities such as coffee makers and clothes iron and board.

The La Quinta Inn is located at 1000 Linnenkohl Drive, and it is considered one of the cleanest 2-star hotels in Douglasville. Their room rates offer good value of money, their staff is competent and helpful with practically anything asked of them, and they maintain connectivity with the outside world via free wi-fi.
